ReservationsFor the Black Pond Vacation Rental Guest House Quick links on this page: Summer RatesOur summer weekly rate is $2,500 for 7 nights (say, Saturday to Saturday), for groups of 4 adults* or more. If your party is smaller, the rate is $1,500 per week. Preference given to larger groups during the prime summer months. We can pro-rate up or down for other timeframes; please ask! (*An adult is age 17 and older.) Fall / Winter RatesOur fall and winter weekly rate is $1,500 for 7 nights, for groups of 6 adults or less. We can pro-rate up or down for other sizes or timeframes; please ask. We also offer weekend getaways, too! Deposit:A deposit of 50% is due within 10 days from booking to hold your reservation. The remainder of payment is due at or before check-in. We can accept credit cards (please add 4% to the total for processing) but we prefer USA checks. Cancellations: If you need to cancel your reservation, please understand that we can only offer refunds if we can re-rent for that timeframe. At our discretion, we can offer a credit to be used within 3 months. Events and WeddingsWe welcome small groups (under 50) to use our property for parties, day picnics or weddings. Up to 12 people can sleep in the house, and perhaps more in the rec room or tenting. Please inquire! We have relationships with excellent area caterers, too! Please check the calendar of availability to plan your vacation.Telephone: (978) 935-9177. DirectionsIn addition to our google map, you might find these last-mile notes helpful. For directions from the highway, there are 2 exits to choose from (one bringing you near grocery stores and shopping, the other to restaurants and shopping). Whichever route you choose (27 or 41), you'll end up in Mt. Vernon center, where there's a cafe and general store. Once you turn onto the Tower Road (aka Seavey Corner Rd), from there, a mile or so up, you take the first right (at Flying Pond), onto Klir Beck Road. Follow it as it becomes a dirt road, then bear right onto the Therriault Drive. (Look for our painted sign in the trees.) Follow this windy gravel road all the way to the first road on the left (you'll see a neighbor's garage on left just before). This is Black Pond Road (see our sign in the tree). Our house driveway is down on the left, #6. There's a blue roof on the house. WeatherHere's a link for the local weather.
